Jazz vocalist Ella Fitzgerald received this Grammy for either Best Vocal Performance, Female for the album, Ella Fitzgerald Sings The Irving Berlin Song Book, or Best Jazz Performance, Individual for the album, Ella Fitzgerald Sings The Duke Ellington Song Book. The metal plate is engraved:
