Scope and Content Note
Contains materials on both national and international jazz organizations. While the majority of the newsletters, marketing materials, correspondence, photographs, handwritten notes, and other ephemera relate to organizations in California and New Orleans, Louisiana, others are headquartered in as far-reaching places as Denver, Boston, Florida, France, and South Africa. These materials are arranged in alphabetical order by the title of the organization. The materials in this series also include several publications related to jazz music and musicians and books, journal articles, and newspaper articles which are arranged in chronological order.
