Posed group of women and four men seated and standing in rows. Most of the women are dressed in white. One woman is wearing a fabric badge. There are three windows behind the group with drapes. Ink on negative: caption. Ink on envelope: caption, "(Mrs. Briggs)" and "3 - 11 x 14 I in folder". "KODAK - SAFETY 421" edge imprint. Retouching on faces, hands and shadows with New Coccine.
Subseries Restrictions
Collection is open for research. Gloves must be worn when handling unprotected photographs and negatives. Special arrangements required to view negatives due to cold storage. Using negatives requires a three hour waiting period. Contact the Archives Center at 202-633-3270.
