Justice Must Be Done

September25201912:30pm
It is 1840, and Lucy Caldwell is organizing ordinary citizens for a meeting of the Ipswich Female Anti-Slavery Society. This 20-minute interactive theater program takes place inside the exhibit Within These Walls, a 250-year-old home that was brought from Massachusetts and tells the stories of the real families who lived in it. While the meeting may be about the Abolition movement of the 1840s, visitors are encouraged to consider strategies they can use to make a positive change in our modern-day society.
