Women’s History has always been a collaborative project. Join us in continuing it.
What is Co-creation?
Co-creation is a collaborative process that recognizes formal training AND lived experience as critically important perspectives to bring together. Co-creation is central to our vision of a more representative history that invites people and communities to shape how their own histories are told.
Why work this way?
Countless people have spent decades working to make women’s history visible, whether uncovering stories hidden in plain sight, contributing new information to well-known historical narratives, revising inaccuracies, or surfacing new and under-appreciated stories. Co-creation is an opportunity to amplify this work and take our place in that tradition, building connections between existing communities, and supporting the creation of new ones.
